What I Do

I don’t just ask the uncomfortable questions about technology and society; I build the infrastructure, deploy the capital, and guide the teams required to answer them.

Ambiguity is a great space for understanding, but eventually, theories have to survive contact with reality. I partner with founders, engineers, and creators to ensure that what we build actually works in the real world.

Here is how that breaks down in practice:

1. Allocating Capital at the Convergence

The future of value creation isn’t in isolated assets; it’s in sustainable platforms.

As the Chief Investment Officer at Paradise Equity Partners, I lead control-oriented investments in growth-stage companies where technology, sports, and entertainment converge. My diligence process is not just financial—it is operational. Because I come from a product background, I evaluate investments based on technical moats, user empathy, and product-market fit. I don’t just write checks; I act as a strategic partner to management teams to drive EBITDA growth and scale market-defining companies.

I also invest in early-stage global innovation as a Founding Member of Illini Angels, backing founders who are translating university-led research into commercial reality.

2. Building Scalable AI & Product Infrastructure

Data is the new gold, but the winner is the one who builds the best shovel.

As the Chief Product Officer at ParallelScore, I lead the strategy and engineering of complex, high-stakes products. I specialize in taking fragmented, legacy nightmares—particularly in healthcare, finance, and the public sector—and transforming them into scalable, AI-powered systems.

Previously, as a Product Lead at Google, I drove the adoption of generative AI and scaled experimentation frameworks for global app campaigns. I know what it takes to move past the “shiny” surface of AI to integrate it in a way that drives measurable performance, user acquisition, and ROI.

3. Shaping the Cultural Interface

Culture is not a footnote to innovation. It is the foundation.

You cannot build a successful system without understanding the psychology of the people inside it. I actively invest time and resources into the cultural and civic ecosystems that dictate how technology is adopted.

  • Advisory & Governance: I advocate for robust AI governance and policy, ensuring we build accountability into the autonomous agents of the future.

  • Empowering the Next Generation: I spent nine years as the Chairman of the Executive Board for The Gray Matter Experience, building the infrastructure to empower young Black entrepreneurs in Chicago to be the architects of their own opportunities.

  • Cultural Production: I am currently stepping into the independent film space as a Producer for Last Weekend in October, a documentary capturing the high-stakes Nigerian fashion ecosystem.

Let’s Build

I am always open to connecting with founders, investors, and builders who are ready to move past the buzzwords.
